Fellow Raiders,

I added a current guide on ARC Raiders crafting and resources. All credit for the original data goes to u/AmaniZandalari, who shared this invaluable Google Doc resource: ARC Raiders Complete Guide.

Essential Resources

The backbone of ARC Raiders’ crafting system relies on several key resources you’ll need to collect:

  • Metal: Found in containers, metal crates, cars, and various debris
  • Electronics: Salvaged from appliances, computers, and electronic fixtures
  • Composites: Collected from specialized containers and enemy drops
  • Chemicals: Located in labs, hospitals, and industrial areas
  • Raider Tokens: Earned by defeating Raiders and completing missions

Crafting Recipes & Requirements

The crafting system progresses through several tiers, each requiring more rare materials:

  1. Basic Equipment (Level 1)
  • Requires minimal resources (10-15 metal, 5-10 electronics)
  • Examples: Basic Pistol, Simple Melee Weapons, Starter Armor
  1. Advanced Gear (Level 2)
  • Requires moderate resources (25-30 metal, 15-20 electronics, 5-10 composites)
  • Examples: Assault Rifles, Medium Armor, Enhanced Tools
  1. Specialized Equipment (Level 3)
  • Requires substantial resources (40-50 metal, 30 electronics, 15-20 composites, 5-10 chemicals)
  • Examples: Sniper Rifles, Heavy Armor, Advanced Utility Items
  1. Elite Gear (Level 4)
  • Requires rare resources (60+ metal, 40+ electronics, 25+ composites, 15+ chemicals, Raider Tokens)
  • Examples: Unique Weapons, Special Armor Sets, Rare Tools

Workbench Locations

Crafting stations can be found at:

  • Main Base (all tiers available once unlocked)
  • Outposts (limited recipes, but convenient in the field)
  • Special areas in certain missions

Pro Tips

  • Always stock up on Metal and Electronics - they’re used in nearly everything
  • Save your Raider Tokens for Elite gear - don’t waste them on items you’ll quickly replace
  • Focus on upgrading one weapon type first rather than spreading resources too thin
  • Field crafting can save you in emergencies - learn the portable recipes

Has anyone found particularly efficient farming routes for rare materials? What’s your crafting priority when starting a new character?
